Meet the team
As one of the founders of Communitas, Ken has spent more than 20 years helping schools, colleges and multi-academy trusts communicate with confidence. Before moving into education marketing, he worked in the music industry supporting several chart-topping bands during the 1990s – an experience that sparked a lifelong appreciation for creativity, branding and producing work that captures people’s attention.
As our resident digital, design and production specialist, Ken leads on everything from website development and visual identity to photography, video and printed publications. He enjoys working closely with clients to turn ideas into engaging, effective communications that not only look great but deliver real results.
Away from Communitas, Ken is a Trustee of a West Sussex multi-academy trust, where he serves on the Finance Committee. The role gives him valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges schools face, helping to ensure the advice and support he provides is always grounded in the realities of education.

We have really enjoyed working with Communitas and have learnt so much along the way… for example, I have learnt that I can’t do marketing when I thought I could! Your insights, solutions and end results are excellent, and we are excited to get using it all. Your challenges and feedback were always VERY useful and professional.
Natasha Bell

We were impressed by the commitment Communitas showed to truly understanding and getting under the skin of our culture. As a result, the new brand positioning framework has a real authenticity to it that shines through. Everyone across our school community is invested in it and proud of the story we are now able to share with the wider community.
Chris Stark

I don’t know how they do it, but they always deliver even when the deadlines are really incredibly tight! Communitas has helped us to raise awareness of our schools through the school websites, media relations, newsletters and other comms channels, including social. We see Communitas as a key strategic partner and we will continue to access guidance and support from the team as the Trust and its schools grow and thrive.
