Essa Primary School

Essa Primary School in an area of high multiple deprivation in Bolton, commissioned us to support them with a full marketing strategy that the school itself could deliver.  The brand new academy opened its doors in September 2014 and is the only local primary school using iPads for every child to support their learning.  Like most new schools, its main objective was to build awareness and understanding amongst local prospective parents, as well as communicating the advantage of wide access to technology to support their excellent teaching. 

We used a mixture of focus groups and desk research to help the school fully understand its prospective parent audiences. We went on to create a detailed timetable of activity to enable the school to reach out to its various stakeholder groups – including prospective parents.
