We provided a full media relations service which entailed running and managing a press office on behalf of the Academy.
Early challenges were around staff management issues that needed delicate and skilled management to avoid unwelcome press coverage.
In addition, Communitas worked with Academy staff, pupils and parents to create an entirely new brand identity for the Academy, managing and delivering the final design and ensuring that stakeholders were consulted and involved throughout the process.
This ensured that all the key players had a real interest and investment in the identity and public face of the new Academy and that the public saw that the new Academy was more than a ‘fresh start’ but was a completely new school for the community.
Communitas managed the design consultation and delivery of the new uniform, expanding the consultation process set in place for the brand identity ensuring that pupils (and other stakeholders) felt a sense of pride and ownership in their ‘new look’ and that the new uniform was practical and affordable.
We managed the entire prospectus from writing and design to printing and distribution and also conducted a signage audit throughout the school, designing and delivering new signage throughout.
