Stockwell Park High School in south London, which has recently undergone a £28m transformation into an Academy, has hired Communitas to help it market its new school to the local community and beyond.
With many families in Lambeth sending their children out of borough to secondary school a priority for Stockwell Park is to convince parents to stay local. Messaging will focus on the fact that a school rated by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’, with high expectations for its students and staff, exists on their doorstep.
Says Account Director Hannah Jefferies, ‘Stockwell Park is an ‘Outstanding’ school with an amazing offering. In addition to a vibrant Business and Enterprise specialism it is also a training school, which is a testament to the quality of the teaching staff there. Like many schools it has been so focused on the Academy conversion and day to day to running of the school that marketing has taken something of a back seat. That’s now changed and we’re pleased to be working with the school on such an important project.’
In addition to drawing up a comprehensive marketing strategy Communitas had been asked to completely re-design the school’s website and to design a range of signage and other materials for internal display.
